My name is Jordi Matas and I am a photographer specialized in architecture and interior design (and architect, ETSAB 2004), with almost seventeen years of experience as a professional photographer.

These two disciplines naturally converge in my work: my architectural training allows me to read each project from the inside, understand its language, its spaces and its essence, and translate this into images that highlight its beauty in an honest and precise way. The combination of artistic sensitivity and technical knowledge gives me a unique personal perspective, which I hope will bring unexpected insight to architects and interior designers.

My photographs are characterized by clean lines, attention to geometry, light and composition. I seek aesthetically balanced and technically sound images, both indoors and outdoors. The process does not end when the photo is taken: editing and post-production are an integral part of the final result, guaranteeing a homogeneous visual language that is consistent with the expectations of each client.

After living and working in over 45 countries since 2004, I have only recently returned to re-establish my base here.

I work between the Costa Brava, Girona and Barcelona, and wherever the project requires.
